An account is a record in an accounting system that keeps track of the money that goes in and out of a certain asset, liability, equity, income, or expense. During the accounting period, these records grow and shrink as business events happen.

In bookkeeping, an account is a list of assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity. Each account is shown on a separate page in the ledger, where changes in value are recorded in order using debit and credit entries. These entries, which are called “postings,” go into a book of final entries, also called a “ledger.”

Prevea Health makes it easy to find the right doctor for you and your family. They have more than 400 providers and more than 2,000 skilled employees all over the state of Wisconsin. Our highly trained doctors know that each patient is different, and their main goal is to help each person reach their own goals for a healthy and happy life.

When looking for a doctor for you and your family at Prevea Health, you may notice that some of our doctors have a (MD) or a (DO) after their name. This is a reference to the most common type of certification or degree that doctors in the United States get.

In Eau Claire and Green Bay, Wisconsin, Prevea is also home to two Family Medicine Residency Programs. Resident physicians have an MD or DO, which means they have finished medical school. In addition to taking advanced science classes, medical students spend two years taking care of real patients in different medical specialties.
